Po Rajdzie Polski "sztandarową"
imprezą, organizowaną przez
Automomobilklub Dolnośląski będzie 6
Międzynarodowy Rajd Samochodów
Ciężarowych i Terenowych - "Jelcz
Rally".
Trasa rajdu zawiera 18 odcinków
specjalnych poprowadzonych po
bezdrożach Dolnego Śląska.
Pierwszy zawodnik wyruszy spod bazy
rajdu (Hotelu "Wrocław") na trasę rajdu
w piątek 22 listopada o godzinie 8:30,
od godziny 11.30 trzy i pół godzinna
przerwa w Miliczu, powrót do Wrocławia
o godzinie 16:10. W sobotę krótsza
pętla z próbą specjalną w Jelczu o
godzinie 12:19, meta o godzinie 14:22.
Decydujące o wynikach rajdu będą
jednak odcinki specjalne na dwóch
podwrocławskich poligonach (po dwa
przejazdy kazdego dnia) i najdłuższy,
czternastokilometrowy oes Kuniczysko -
Pracze. Atrakcją dla kibicow będzie też
krótka próba w piaskowni w Sułowie
Milickim.
Do biura rajdu nadchodzą już pierwsze
zgłoszenia, oprócz kilku prywatnych
zawodników spodziewane sa fabryczne
ekipy Jelcza (oczywiście), Liaza i
Uralaza.

16h00 in the office of Automobilklub Dolnośląski in Wrocław,

From November 20, 1991 it will be open from 8h00 till 22h00 in
Hotel "Wroclaw".

óSUMMARY OF THE REGULATIONSň
ORGANIZATION
The Organizer of the 6th International Truck and Cross Country
"Jelcz" Rally, which will take place November 22 - 23, 1991 is
Automobilklub Dolnośląski with the colaboration of its division in
Milicz under the patronage of Jelcz Truck Factory in Jelcz -
Laskowice.
The event will be run in compliance with The International Sporting
Code and its appendices of the Fdration Internationale du Sport
Automobile.

DESCRIPTION
Rally is a sporting event for truck and off-road vehicles.
The route of the 6th Jelcz Rally is 395.5 km long with 18 special
stages of the total length of 131.78 km.
Details of the Rally Route can be found in Appendix V, Special
Stages (OS), Time Controls (PKC) and Passage Control (PKP) details
can be found in the Road Book and on the Time Card.
Intervals between crews will be 3 minutes.
The official time will be that given by Polish Radio.
ELIGIBLE VEHICLES
The rally is open for all trucks (excluding articulated vehicles)
and off-road vehicles which meet the safety requirements of the FISA.
Rollbars, crash helmets and one or two fire extinguishers with
minimum total capacity of 4 kg are obligatory.
The vehicles taking part in the rally will be divided into
following groups and classes:
GROUPS (according to weight of the vehicle)
Group I up to 3,500 kg
Group II over 3,500 kg up to 7,000 kg
Group III over 7,000 kg up to 10,000 kg
Group IV over 10,000 kg
Weight is that of a vehicle ready for the start including the crew.

Class 1 2 wheels driven
Class 2 more than 2 wheels driven
ELIGIBLE COMPETITORS
No sporting licences required.
Competitors must be over 18 years old.
ENTRIES
By the very fact of signing the entry form the entrant, as well as
the crew members, submit themselves to the prescriptions of the
present regulations.
Crews may be made up of 2 or 3 persons.
At last 2 of them must have a driving licence valid for the vehicle
entered. Entries must be accompanied by 2 photos (4 x 6 cm) of
every member of a crew.
Competitors wishing to enter a vehicle that is not their property
must have their entries accepted by the vehicle owner.
ENTRY FEES - INSURANCE
The entry fee is as follows:
300,000 Polish Zloty for a crew
200,000 Polish Zloty for a factory, club or national team
50,000 Polish Zloty for a service car
The entry fees should be remitted into the account: ŁBRSA O/Wrocław
419206-7764-132 or in the office of Automobilklub Dolnośląski.
For foreign competitors The International Insurrance Card ("Green
Card") is required and will be checked during scrutineering.
The Organizers do not take any responsability for the losses and
the damages in regard to the competitors or caused by them to third
parties. The competitors take part in the event at their own risk.
In case of an accident the competitor or his representative should
report the fact orally at the nearest time control (PKC) and then
submit a written account to the Rally Office before the results are
announced.
ADVERTISING
Advertising is allowed on condition that it does not interfere with
the national and FIA regulations, is not likely to give offence, does
not encroach upon the spaces reserved for rally plates and
competition numbers and does not interfere with the crew's vision
through the windows.
The place on the rally plates and on the doors over and bellow the
starting numbers is reserved for the Organizer's advertising.
The organizer reserves the right to place additional advertising on
the vehicles.
TIME CONTROL - PASSAGE CONTROL
All controls, ie. Time Controls (PKC), Passage Controls (PKP) and
Special Stage start and finish will be indicated by means of FISA
approved standarized signs.
Any difference between the check-in time and the target time on a
Time Control will be penalized as follows:
- for late arrival - 10 seconds for every minute
- for early arrival - 20 seconds for every minute
Early check-in is allowed at the finish of the 1st leg and on the
finish of the Rally.

Any lateness between two controls exceeding 30 minutes or total
lateness during any leg exceeding 30 minutes or total latenes
exceeding 60 minutes will result in the exclusion of the crew.
Any failure to have a Time Card stamped on a Passage Control wil
result in the exclussion.
SPECIAL STAGES
Special stages are speed tests on terrains closed specially for the
event. Wearing crash helmets is obligatory during these events.
Special stages will end in a flying finish followed by a Point
Stop control at 100 - 300 m. after the finish line.
The crew may repair their car during a special stage if it does not
interfere with the normal running of the stage.
The crew may skip any natural obstacle on the stage on condition of
returning into the same place (at the other side of obstacle) and
driving through a gate consisting of two poles placed here.
PARC FERME
The cars will be subject to Parc Fermé rules:
- from the moment they enter a starting area, a regroupping zone or
an end of a leg, until they leave one of these,
- from the moment they enter a control area until they leave it,
- from as soon as they reach the end of the event until the time
for lodging protests has expired.
While the vehicles are subject to the Parc Fermé rules, any repairs
or refuelling are strictly forbidden under pain of exclusion.
CLASSIFICATION
The final results shall be determined by adding the times obtained
on the special stages and the penalties expressed in time.
Classifications shall be determined in General Classification and
in groups and classes.
Team results will be calculated by adding results of three best
crews of each team. Cups will be awarded if at last three teams are
entered in classification considered.
Results of a class or group consisting of less than five vehicles
will count only for general classification.
PRIZES - CUPS
Prizes consisting of two cups each shall be awarded for:
- first, second and third place in General classification,
- first place in each group and class,
- first place in the Ladies' Cup.
Prizes consisting of one cup each shall be awarded for:
- first place in National Team Classification
- first place in Factory Team Classification
- first place in Club Team Classification
LIST OF REMAINING PRIZES WILL BE POSTED IN THE RALLY OFFICE ON
NOVEMBER 21, 1991.
